The Life of Ethan - Calgary Lifestyle

Our little guy Ethan just turned 5 months old this week. Here's a look at him over the whole week.

It's still seems surreal that we moved back to Calgary 2 years ago and now have a 5 month old baby boy, who is going to grow up here. A whole new world, so different than the one that we saw when we were growing up.

Ashley, Adam & Easton - Calgary Family Photos

If you're an expecting Mother, then chances are you know how great it is if one of your close friends is pregnant at the same time as you. You can share stories and help each other plan for the days ahead...and maybe even pick out names together.

Well, that's what Ashley and my wife Lindsey had during their pregnancy, and although they live 3,000 kms apart, they were able to keep in touch almost daily.

We were fortunate to be able to get together while we were in Ontario last month and it was great that I was able to photograph their beautiful family.

What I've Been Up To

One of my goals this year, among many, was to blog more often. Sometimes I forget that people are actually interested in what I'm up to and it's always so rewarding to hear someone say that they check my blog often and enjoy seeing new posts. That being said, I've just been so busy/occupied/lazy/traveling/shooting/relaxing...etc, that I just haven't been. I promise to try a little harder to keep the blog and galleries stocked up with photos for all of you who enjoy seeing them.

A couple of weeks ago, while we were in Ontario for a wedding, we had the privilege of getting some family photos done by Ashley of AshleyMarsdenPhotography. If you're in the SW Ontario area, check her out.

Ethan's First Photo Shoot - Calgary Newborn

What to do when your little boy falls asleep? Squish him into your camera bag and start taking photos, of course.

Ethan's first 'Photo Shoot'. It's amazing to think about how quickly he's going to grow and how in just a few months he'll likely be bigger than the entire camera bag. I'm excited to capture as much of him growing up as I can.
