I'm in love with Instagram these days. If you're not using it already, then you don't know what you're missing.
What it has that sites like Pinterest don't is the ability to create within the app, rather than just upload and share. Don't get me wrong, I do that sometimes as well.
Instagram reminds me of the good ol' films days - the days that I recently find myself drifting, no, make that running towards. There's the challenge of taking a photo in square format and the fun you can have adding various old film style filters to.
For those who say that Instagram is just a toy, or a way to make your bad photos look better by adding cool filters to, I say...I agree. It can be just that, but it can also be a great way to spark your creativity and challenge yourself to take photos a little differently; to stop and think about the shot you're about to take rather than shooting until your memory card is full, then choosing your favourite one.
